The Y chromosome is one of our sex chromosomes. Boys have the XY pair of sex chromosomes in each of their cells. The Y chromosome carries very few genes because it has lost a lot of DNA during the course of human evolution.
Male or female… all about an angle
We all know the difference between a man and a woman. Yet, on the molecular level, the difference between a little boy and a little girl is very very small. So small, in fact, that a change of angle can cause a gender problem.

DAZ1/DAZ2/DAZ3/DAZ4: These genes are involved in spermatogenesis. A deletion in this region of the Y chromosome is the most frequent cause of inherited male infertility.
